The Digital Health Cohort team is led by Associate Director of Clinical Research, Micol Zweig, MPH; hired at HPI·MS in June 2019. As the Associate Director of Clinical Research, Zweig leads clinical research study design, execution, and management of all clinical trials and initiatives related to digital/mobile health. She joined HPI·MS with five years of experience in digital health. Zweig helped lead in the creation and management of the Mount Sinai Asthma Mobile Health Study using the Asthma Health app powered by Apple’s ResearchKit. The study enrolled >10,000 research participants and demonstrated that a broad scale observational study via a smartphone application, including remote participant recruitment, consent, enrollment, data collection, and correlation with environmental, and other passive, wearable data could be conducted entirely remotely through a mobile device.
